Hi I'm Joy, the creative force behind Zala Threadz, welcome to my little business. I live on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria with my husband and young son and daughter. 

After having my second child I was keen to find a little of myself again and stumbled upon an image of a giant doily rug. After researching a quality yarn supplier I set about making a rug for my daughter's nursery, fast forward 3 nights and the rug is complete and I am in love!

There is only so much crochet that can fit into one house so the idea to create a business quickly formed. The name for the business took a little longer but thanks to my husband's slight of tongue when referring to our children, Zander and Amala, Zala Threadz was born!
